HACCP INTRODUCTION & DEVELOPMENT

Through a combination of lecture-based teaching and participation in workshops, students will leave the class with the understanding of the importance and purpose of having a HACCP Plan in place. Students will also develop their own competence and ability to write and implement their own HACCP Plans according to the five preliminary steps and seven principles of HACCP as outlined by the National Advisory Committee for the Microbiological Criteria for Foods (NACMCF).
This certification fulfills all USDA/FSIS and FDA regulatory requirements for HACCP Training. The certification is also accepted by auditing firms who require HACCP Training as a component of the audit. This class is also approved to meet the requirements of the SQF training for practitioners and auditor/consultants.
Our Partner, Professional Food Safety Ltd., is an approved course provider for the International HACCP Alliance and is one of the largest HACCP Training providers in North America. The Alliance is located at Texas A&M University, College Station Texas. Upon completion of the class, students will receive a certificate bearing the seal of the Alliance and be entered into their International Database of individuals who have attended a Certified Course.

ADVANCED HACCP

This course is designed for students who already have a strong understanding of the development and implementation of a HACCP Plan and are interested in developing the skillset necessary to validate and verify HACCP Plans. The course covers in great details the concepts related to HACCP Plan validation, the components involved with verifying CCPs and the entire HACCP system as well as the regulatory requirements for verification and validation.
